是呀！学技术，练英语，两手都要抓。有人说多看电视英语提高快，老师说SQL要写multiple times。时间有限，怎么办？要不看着电视，写SQL？

学习的时候，妈妈们也能找回工作的感觉。从现在开始，有机会就打扮漂亮，向黄脸婆说不。锻炼身体，迎接将来快节奏的工作和生活。培养自己成为team player,老师就是老板，同学就是同事。

坐家妈妈，不包括5年内在美国工作过的，在家超过5年以上的，家里老公不是说英语的，自己在国内不是英语专业的，在找工作时最大的障碍可能是英语。

我一个朋友在公司内部做管理咨询。他说，公司里竟是toddler。我们坐家妈妈在这方面多有优势呀。总结一下智斗terrible two 的经验，将来有用。我说真的。回想一下，两三岁的小孩总要自己穿衣服，你好心好意帮他穿好，他非说你不对。他自己穿个乱七八糟，还美滋滋的。你随他乱七八糟，自己清闲。你非要他人模狗样，他闹你个鸡犬不宁。

另外， 我觉得英语的话，其实找我们这种工作的，要求应该不高的，呵呵。
所以大家不要太担心。

当然，平时的small talk, 我觉得还真的是个技术活。

多去youtube看看关于sql,ssis,ssrs等方面的视频，很多，找有口音的听。
老师的ppt, 照着念。
没办法，没工作，只能多练。

I have to say fluency in business English is likely to be very important for BI Analyst. As a BI analyst, your business users are VP and managers (at least mine are). You have to be able to communicate with them effectively. I find reading books on business letters, especially business emails can be very helpful.

I borrowed the book titled "300 successful business letters for all occasions" by Alan Bond and Bancy Schuman. I find it is very useful for my daily email communications. I also borrowed a few other similar books from local library before - they are all quite good.

Depending on the working environment, sometimes companies are more tolerant with imperfect written English than others. But it is always good idea to grasp the style of business communication before entering the job market.

正在想问这个问题呢。谢谢各位同学！

坐家妈妈要面临的问题很多，从服装化妆到心态，从技术经验到语言，每一样都要重新捡起来，学习准备。最头疼的还是语言。我所在的城市公共图书馆，提供一个reading program.可以找到一对一的自愿者老师,我感觉挺好的，可以一起读书，也可以聊天交朋友。大家可以试试看。
