Job Description:
Scope of the project:
This position will produce weekly / monthly reports and conduct data validation using SQL, MS Excel, and some MS Access. This position will be asked to do ad-hoc analysis projects by pulling and analyzing data.
Top 3 preferred skills:
Knowledge working with and analyzing very large and complex sets of financial data and can identify when something does not look right in the data
Technically savvy with experience writing financial reports with SQL and an advanced user of MS Excel.
Knowledge of Health Care / Revenue Cycle / Claims
Top 5 daily responsibilities:
Pull data to create reports and conduct data validation
Analyze data and make observations / recommendations
Identify areas of improvement to be more efficient
Create new reports using SQL.
Top 3 preferred personality traits:
Self directed - can take a vision and run with it without requiring step by step direction
Easy to talk to - Good communication skills and can work well with other members of the team
"Can do" mentality - Deals well with ambiguity, will try to understand the challenges and offer solutions for the best way to do something
Education required:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience with financial reporting. Minimum 3 years of report writing experience with SQL
