Work location: Novato, CA
Duration: 12 Months
 
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
State the overall function or purpose of the job.
This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and will be responsible for support of Oracle OPM modules & Implementation of new functionalities & modules in OPM .
It includes support any interfaces to Oracle OPM, MES etc.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
List the major responsibilities of the job.
Analysis and Solution Definition
?              Architect and lead the implementation of MES and eBR systems for use in commercial biologics production operations.
?              Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical
       effort required to implement complex MES solutions.
?              Work closely with the corresponding Business Process Owner(s) to guide the team members through the requirement analysis phase
?              Drafts and edits process flow diagrams
?              Attends vendor audits as Subject Matter Expert
?              Drafts business case and presents proposed solutions to upper management
?              Develops functional requirement specifications
?              Edits and reviews design specifications
Project Execution
?              Drafting Project Specific deliverable including but not limited to Project Implementation Plan, meeting agendas, minutes Change Requests, and presentations.
?              Communicates and applies project standards.
?              Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
?              Promote best practices and standards and review deliverables to ensure highest standard of delivery and adopts AIM or client specific methodology.
System Support
?              Supervises overall support, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
?              Develop and document appropriate computer system procedures and forms for use in various administrative processes to ensure the system continues to meet the organizations needs.
?              Supervise and participate in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and training materials for system users.
?              Train staff on proper procedures for using software systems as required.
?              Investigate area user needs and organize creative solutions to present to Technical Operations management.
 
 
EDUCATION
State both the minimum and the preferred educational attainment (or equivalent experience), and describe essential and desired subject matter, certifications, special training, etc.
Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related technical degree plus 4 years of Oracle R12 OPM Implementation experience in Biopharmaceutical operations or equivalent experience may be considered.
 
EXPERIENCE
State both the minimum and the preferred number of years of relevant experience, and describe the essential functions of the job.
Demonstrated success implementing computer systems in a regulated environment preferably in the Life Sciences.
Thorough understanding of relevant regulations including CFR 21 Part 11 and predicate rules.
Exposure to enterprise level large-scale applications
Experience implementing software used in 24x7 shop floor environments
Good to know the  Plant Information Management Systems
Oracle EBS R12 experience in Inventory and OPM modules a must.
Familiarity with multiple MES systems (Werum, Emerson, Rockwell)
