any of the lenovo with good CPU, large memory  and large hard drive will be OK

做课堂练习和项目最好用Laptop, Windows 8 or 7:
    CPU: Intel i3, i5, i7
    Memory >= 4GB, expandable to 8GB;
    Hard Drive >= 320 GB
    Brand name: Buy whatever brand name you like.    Many of us use Lenovo.

这个很好呀，是个游戏本，学累了还能玩玩游戏，呵呵。Nvidia755m可是笔记本里的好显卡呀。几乎市面上的游戏都跑的动。只用来学习的话，overkill了。14寸屏幕有点小，推荐15.6寸的。

这个是安装的时候选的吗？还是已经在里面了，以后随便选8.1， 或者8.谢谢！
另外貌似不包含Microsoft，这个是不是不太划算了，尤其要上课的话，会不方便吧？

If you buy a brand new computer from store, it should have Windows 8.1 installed.

I am going to add Microsoft office home and student 2013 to the computer, does it matter what is in the package (word, excel, ppt, onenote) in terms of using it for USALAOTU classes? or all the necessary software are provided once registered.

Just follow class instructions step by step.
Not need install software before register class.

I have existing windows office 2010 installed in my computer, looks like have some issues to load the files to SSMS. is better for me to change?

Don't change anything until you follow class video and until you have to.
Watch video, watch video.
Focus on your major goal, don't stuck on software installation things.
