MSBI course

Hi, there
I checked the MSBI course , it is include datawarehouse, ssis,ssas,mdx,ssrs, excel 2010, data  mining , share point,
it request the computer is 64 -bit. But  I do not know, why is  it need to 64-bit. That is only for sharepoint ? can you someone tell me reas

Only SharePoint 2010 require 64-bit Windows 2008 Server.
Student can learn SharePoint by watch class video without install it into your own machine. In this case, not need a 64-bit computer.

我只知道64bit的操作系统能调用大于3.25GB的内存，而32bit的系统，3.25GB是上限。我对数据库软件一窍不通，只是略懂硬件而已。
