Position: BI/Data Mgmt Analyst (Client is looking for Local)
Location: Somers, Heritage Hills, NY
Duration:  6+months

Role supports data modeling needs for MDM project development, under the guidance of the MDM & Data Design team leads. 
Primary Responsibilities include:
? Perform data modeling for new relational database, and potentially PBC Beverage Data Warehouse; collaborate with team lead/senior designer to create data solutions for business and systems requirements.
? Adhere to, and enforce, data standards and best practices.
? Attend requirements gathering meetings with team lead, senior designer, application teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and/or business partners to understand business needs.
? Support application teams with data identification and analysis.
? Convert logical data model to physical model and database in development environment; transition to DBAs for test and production environments.
? Create and maintain Metadata, including table/column definitions.
? Prepare, maintain and publish documentation, including business transformation logic (Source-to-Target Mappings), data models and data dictionary reports
 
Skills:
Minimum of 4 years dedicated Data Modelling/Design experience, required
Experience working with SQL and UNIX
Experience with ER/Studio or ERwin, required
Strong analytical and communications skills
Team player; ability to work well with changing priorities; demonstrated flexibility
